Des Moines Public Schools Board Meeting

Earlier this week, I was asked to join a panel of experts to speak on the DMPS proposed metrics for return to learn and the most recent science around COVID-19 in children. If you are interested in learning more about school-based metrics and how those metrics are defined (and have the fortitude to listen to a two-hour discussion ), this might be worth a listen. Regardless of the outcome, I am appreciative of how the board interacted with this panel and their clear compassion for protection the overall health and safety of DMPS staff and students.
